The electronic version of a 12-volume print encyclopedia. Very comprehensive.

An excellent and comprehensive overview of this aspect of the field.

Aimed at undergraduates and others new to the field, its articles are clear and easy to understand.

Very good coverage of communication and its intersection with other academic disciplines.

Concepts and definitions

A U.K. publication with detailed entries, and very good on theoretical concepts. It includes a topic guide which lists all entries under 26 major headings, and a chronology.
